New reports concerning Hillary Clinton’s relationship with the Kremlin have made it clear that FBI Director Robert Mueller is far from fit to investigate President Donald Trump.
In 2011, the Obama administration — including then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton — approved a deal that allowed 20 percent of America’s uranium supply to go to a Russian-owned company, Uranium One. It was revealed that this deal corresponded with a Kremlin donation of $2.35 million to the Clinton Foundation, creating a bribery scandal that Mueller’s FBI knew about — and actively covered up.
The Hill released a report on Tuesday stating that the FBI withheld evidence from lawmakers and the public regarding this instance of Clinton-Russia collusion, which involved “bribery, kickbacks, extortion and money laundering designed to grow Vladimir Putin’s atomic energy business inside the United States.”
According to the Bureau’s report, Mueller’s FBI uncovered the massive Russian bribery operation in the U.S. before the Obama administration gave the green light to the sale of U.S. uranium to Russia — but said nothing.
Furthermore, an official told The Hill that the Russian organization, which was tracked from the inside by an FBI agent with ties to the Russian nuclear industry, was extensive and completely corrupt:
The Russians were compromising American contractors in the nuclear industry with kickbacks and extortion threats, all of which raised legitimate national security concerns. And none of that evidence got aired before the Obama administration made those decisions.
Then-President Barack Obama and his administration denied any wrongdoing at the time, but The Hill reports that “the FBI in fact had gathered substantial evidence well before the committee’s decision that Vadim Mikerin — the main Russian overseeing Putin’s nuclear expansion inside the United States — was engaged in wrongdoing starting in 2009.”
Still, no one faced prosecution for these federal crimes.
The Clinton Connection
Since her defeat in the November 2016 presidential election, Hillary Clinton has repeatedly argued that Donald Trump conspired with the Russian government in order to hijack the American election. Robert Mueller, who heads the ongoing Russian probe, has been authorized by Congress to find whether or not these rumors are true.
However, the release of these new documents shows that Mrs. Clinton not only sat on the board that approved of the sale of American uranium to Russia, but her husband also began receiving generous speaking fees for talks given in Russia.
All of this was first covered in Peter Schweitzer’s book “Clinton Cash,” but Mr. Schweitzer was initially cast aside as a far-Right kook. Now, it appears that the Clintons were actively involved in a corrupt deal with the Russian government.
As for Mr. Mueller, not only did his FBI try to cover these facts up, but he was also the go-between between the U.S. government and Russia during a secret transaction involving enriched uranium found in the Republic of Georgia.
All of this new information raises questions about the validity of Mueller’s investigation. Trump is right. It’s time to drain the swamp.
