George Soros is funding the effort to investigate Trump for sexual harassment

December 11, 2017

The desperately partisan Russian collusion investigation just won’t be enough to satisfy those liberal elites who refuse to accept the idea of a Republican outsider occupying the White House. As Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation dries up without any evidence to indict the president, Democrats are already moving on to Plan B.

Capitalizing on the public outrage accompanying the extended list of powerful male figures accused of sexual misconduct, Democratic Party super-donor and liberal operative George Soros has organized a group of women accusing Donald Trump of various sexual improprieties, and he plans to parade them in front of Congress to demand another “independent” investigation against the president.

Here we go again.

Publicity stunt

CBS News will proudly broadcast the spectacle today at 10:30 a.m. eastern.

Their press release for the event reads like the description for a prime-time drama:

Women who have publicly accused President Trump of sexual harassment and assault will unite for the first time to speak out about their experiences on Monday, December 11, at 10:30 AM. At the press conference, hosted by Brave New Films, the women will call for accountability and an investigation by Congress of sexual misconduct by the president.

The women will share their firsthand accounts of President Trump groping, fondling, forcibly kissing, humiliating and harassing women. They are among the at least sixteen women who have come forward to accuse the president of sexual misconduct. Their disturbing allegations came to light before the post-Weinstein era of accountability for sexual misconduct and the rise of the #MeToo movement.

Clearly, CBS has made up their minds concerning the president’s guilt; their sensationalist description failed to mention that he has firmly and consistently denied any wrongdoing.

Plan B

When a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization claims to be “non-partisan,” like the production company behind this publicity stunt proudly declares on their website, this is generally an indication of strong political bias.

Brave New Films, whose mission is to “champion social justice issues,” has been funded by liberal paragons like Media Matters For America, Democracy For America and the Soros-chaired Open Society Foundations.

As Ryan Saavedra from The Daily Wire points out, the progressive production company pretends to be above “expressly advocat[ing] for the election or defeat of candidates for public office,” while their film credits are nothing less than Democratic Party propaganda. Take, for instance, these “non-partisan” films:

-Stand Up, Senate! The President-elect is a hypocrite.

-Protect Public Education – Stop Betsy DeVos!

-Indivisible: A Practical Guide For Resisting The Trump Agenda

-GETTING DONALD TRUMP OFF NBC’S SNL

Soros began funding his anti-Trump machine before the Trump won the 2016 election, giving over $25 million to the Hillary Clinton campaign and other Democratic causes. However, those donations were just a drop in the bucket to the $18 billion he has given Open Society Foundations since Trump entered the White House.

After Trump’s unexpected November victory, Soros warned of the “dark forces that have been awakened” by the Republican presidency. “We must do something to push back against what’s happening here,” he demanded.

One year later, as 16 Trump accusers appear on national television to throw bricks at the White House, we know just what that “something” is from Soros.
