Prosecutors weigh legality of billionaire Jeffrey Epstein’s controversial 2008 plea deal Eric Austin / CCL

A billionaire pedophile and former friend of Bill Clinton may soon lose a generous plea agreement.

Prosecutors said Friday that they are talking to once-underage sex abuse victims of Jeffrey Epstein as authorities weigh whether to throw out his 2008 plea deal. Investigators opened a probe in February into the secret arrangement, which gave Epstein a slap on the wrist for allegedly abusing dozens of underage girls, whom he kept as sex slaves on a Caribbean “escape” known as “Orgy Island.”

Clinton, who was heavily involved with Epstein, likely won’t be too happy about new testimony coming out.

Plea deal in question

The FBI opened an investigation into Epstein’s underage sex trafficking in 2006, but Epstein ultimately received light punishment for his crimes. A secret plea deal in 2008 granted Epstein a generous arrangement under which he served only 13 months in jail, paid restitution to victims, and registered as a sex offender for crimes that could have locked him up for life.

Police had found a “clear indication that Epstein’s staff was frequently working to schedule multiple young girls between the ages of 12 and 16 years old literally every day, often two or three times per day.”

For years, Epstein’s nefarious activities were kept in the dark. Now, prosecutors are talking to his underage victims to decide whether to toss his plea deal. A judge ruled in February that prosecutors under then-Miami U.S. Attorney Alex Acosta, now a Trump Cabinet official, violated victims’ rights by not disclosing the non-prosecution agreement Epstein received.

Epstein operated an Eyes Wide Shut-like “escape” for perverts and pedophiles on a 72-acre private estate on an island in the Caribbean dubbed “Orgy Island,” where underage girls were allegedly forced to have sex with Epstein and his friends. While there is no proof that Clinton ever engaged in underage sex activities, the famously lecherous former president was a frequent flyer on Epstein’s private jet, referred to as the “Lolita Express” after Vladimir Nabokov’s famous novel.

Clinton flew on the jet at least 26 times, including 5 times without his Secret Service security detail. The flights occurred between 2002 and 2005, when his wife Hillary was representing New York in the U.S. Senate. The jet was reportedly outfitted with a bed where guests had sex with young girls.

A former teen prostitute who says she was abused by Epstein said that she once saw Clinton on the private island. But according to flight logs obtained by Fox, he never visited the estate.

Prosecutors said that input from the victims is essential to determining how to proceed in the case. They argued that they need at least 60 days to talk to the victims before making a decision on the plea agreement.

Ties to global elite

The depravity on Epstein’s estates paints a picture of what many have long suspected goes on in the shadows of global elite circles. Particularly in the wake of the #MeToo movement, Epstein’s sex ring seems like the kind of degradation that power and influence were able to keep under wraps for decades in Hollywood. Epstein allegedly used female recruiters who would find girls for him and his friends to abuse.

Although Clinton eventually cut ties with Epstein, he did not sever connections with Epstein’s circle completely. According to the National Enquirer, a friend of Epstein who allegedly helped recruit underage girls for Epstein to abuse was a guest at Chelsea Clinton’s wedding in 2010.

Epstein brought at least 40 underage girls to his mansion in Palm Beach, Florida where he allegedly molested them. The billionaire also brought underage girls to a home in New York and a ranch in New Mexico, as well to as the aforementioned Caribbean island.

He pleaded guilty to soliciting a minor for prostitution in the sex trafficking case in 2008 and served a mere 13 months of an 18-month sentence. Epstein is facing fresh accusations from a woman in New York who alleges that he raped her and her 15-year-old sister when she was 26 years old.

While Epstein’s relationship with the famously lascivious Clinton is notable, the hedge fund manager was widely connected with the international ruling elite, including disgraced actor Kevin Spacey and Prince Andrew. Epstein is also alleged to have ties with President Donald Trump, whose now-Labor Secretary arranged his sweetheart plea deal.

Trump has been accused of mixing socially with Epstein, who used to be Trump’s neighbor in Palm Beach, Florida. But a lawyer for Trump has denied that the two had any relationship.

If the plea deal is voided, Epstein could be exposed to further prosecution. If that happens, there’s no telling what may come to light about Epstein and his former friends.
