George Soros threatens Trump, says Trump admin will ‘disappear’ in 2020 – or ‘even sooner’

January 26, 2018

Liberal billionaire George Soros has long been a thorn in the side of conservatives, using his enormous fortune to push his illiberal, globalist agenda all over the world.

Soros manages to influence millions even without being in the public eye himself. Now Soros may have gone too far in making a threatening public statement about President Trump. In an address to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Soros promised that Trump was a “purely temporary phenomenon that will disappear in 2020 or even sooner.”

Was It a Real Threat?

The 87-year-old billionaire, who wasted millions on Hillary Clinton’s failed presidential campaign, told the Forum that Trump is trying to create a “mafia state” in America.

According to Soros, his ultra-leftist Open Society Foundation is using $18 billion to “protect the democratic achievements of the past.”

Soros also claims that Trump is attempting to embroil the U.S. in a nuclear war with North Korea.

Indeed, the United States is set on a course towards nuclear war by refusing to accept that [North] Korea has become a nuclear power. This creates a strong incentive for North Korea to develop its nuclear capacity with all possible speed, which in turn may induce the United States to use its nuclear superiority pre-emptively, in effect to start a nuclear war to prevent a nuclear war, obviously a self-contradictory strategy.

Soros called the Trump presidency “a danger to the world,” but also dismissed it, saying that Trump will “disappear in 2020 or even sooner.”

While it’s not certain if Soros simply meant that Trump would not win reelection, it does seem certain that Soros is willing to do nearly anything in order to stop a reelection from happening—or maybe even to end his presidency early.

This is clear in the groups he bankrolls which actively advocate for the impeachment of President Trump and organize protests against him.

Soros’ Hand is in the Corrupt Pie

Soros believes that “dark forces have been awakened” due to Trump’s election. Considering the disturbing scandals in federal government agencies, the leadership of which have been actively attempting to destroy the President, it seems Soros is actually correct.

But Trump is not the source of these “dark forces” — his enemies are.

Soros lost over $1 billion after Trump’s election, as the economy continues to rebound; he is notorious for betting against the market, so the better it does, the more money he loses.

He can certainly afford the losses; Soros’ net worth as of December 2017 of over $8 billion.

His money is being used all over the world to foster progressive leftist ideas, such as upending the Irish Constitution, which bans abortion.

Having Davos and Soros in the same sentence already spells trouble, and now we know what his expectations are, and how confident he feels about his vision of the future. This is concerning to anyone who cares about freedom and sovereignty.
