BREAKING: Powerful Democrat Implicates Hillary in Major Scandal

November 2, 2017

Another day, another Hillary Clinton scandal; no matter what shady, illegal, and even immoral acts the former first lady and secretary of state is linked to, the party faithful continue to support her. Hashtags like #ImWithHer still abound on Twitter, and Clinton fans continue to defend the failed presidential candidate on social media.

Now, however, Clinton has one less fan – and it’s a prominent Democrat who once slipped Clinton debate questions in advance. Donna Brazile, former interim chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee (DNC), writes in a new book that she discovered evidence that Clinton’s campaign rigged the nomination system in her favor, effectively ending Bernie Sanders’ chance at the White House.

Brazile Comes Clean

Donna Brazile’s book is titled “Hacks: The Inside Story of the Break-ins and Breakdowns That Put Donald Trump in the White House,” and it appears to be a tell-all about her own experiences as head of the Democratic Party.

According to an excerpt released online, the former chairwoman said it “broke [her] heart” to find that not only were the accusations of a fixed nomination process true, but that Clinton was exerting total control over the party only a few months after announcing her candidacy.

The excerpt describes a DNC that was financially run into the ground by former President Barack Obama’s campaign. From the book:

Obama left the party $24 million in debt—$15 million in bank debt and more than $8 million owed to vendors after the 2012 campaign and had been paying that off very slowly. Obama’s campaign was not scheduled to pay it off until 2016.

Clinton’s campaign organizations paid off most of the debt and put the DNC on an allowance, but there was a problem. The money came with a quid pro quo; in return for paying the Obama debts, the DNC had to make a deal with the devil – an agreement that allowed the Clinton campaign to “control the party’s finances, strategy, and all the money raised.”

The agreement, according to Brazile, was signed in August 2015 – giving Clinton control of the party a full year before her nomination and ending any other candidates’ hopes in the election.

Hillary Takes the DNC Funds

In a particularly galling move, Brazile says the Clinton campaign used the new agreement to get around campaign finance laws as well, which limited individuals to $2,700 in campaign contributions. They could donate to the DNC as well – up to another $33,400 – and that money was funneled directly back to Clinton’s campaign as part of the quid pro quo between Clinton and the DNC.

Brazile puts some of the blame for the mess on former DNC chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz. “Debbie was not a good manager,” says Brazile.
